When I first heard this song, I never imagined it would literally fulfill what it professed, namely thorough the line: " When you hit me, hit me hard." That's because at first, I now confess, I did not pay that much attention to the lyrics.Thus, it took a while until it stuck and, then, only with a closer listening, I took it all in - and it did hit hard. The song title itself has a rather interesting background. Apart from being an unusual one, which sometimes can draw people to great pieces of music (because, come on!, who isn't curious about what hides behind any strange title?), it still remains at the head of a composition that touches serious (relationship) problems. To my mind, they couldn't have come up with a better title. It, somehow, fits the song like a glove and gives one a glimpse into its general mood and into the theme represented.
